CVS edit link for adam-griffiths
I would like a CVS account to become co-maintinaer for the PEAR-wiki filter which Julian (roetzi) has agreed to here: http://drupal.org/node/544958.I would aos like a CVS account so I can contibute my new mediawiki filter which - unlike any of the other existing mediawiki filters - uses the avilable http api (www.mediawiki.org/wiki/API). Using the api has a number of avdantages, not least it mean there is no need to hack the mediawiki code in order to use it as a parser and provide drupal with a first rate wiki syntax. However I believe it it is worth me submitting my mediwiki filter as a separate module because it will provide users with the choice:
* Use http://drupal.org/project/mediawiki (which needs some maintenance) if they want to wrap the php parse directly in php.
* Use http://drupal.org/project/pearwiki_filter if they want a simple alternative the parses a subset of the mediawiki syntax
* Use my new module if they want to parse input using an exising mediawiki instalation via the api
Thanks
Adam
