Panel pages are not added to custom menus

Description
Create a custom menu
goto the panel page and add the panel to that menu
Nothing shows up in that menu
It looks like it goes directly to the navigation menu only
Am I doing something wrong?

I can't duplicate this.
One question: Had you touched the item in the menu admin prior to creating the custom menu? If so, the way it works is that once an item has been moved in the menu system, the settings that Panels can control will no longer affect it. I'm not sure I can do anything about that either, at least not easily.

One way to tell is the menu item has a 'reset' operation in the menu admin.

Hmmm. they were copies of old panel pages. Maybe that is it.
I just created a brand new one and it did appear.

I don't know what to say for sure. I couldn't duplicate this, and I hear pretty regular reports of bizarre behavior with menus that 99% of the time seems like it's core menu behavior bugs. Without reproducing it there's little I can do.
